The DeSoto Eagles (2-0) will host their first home game against the Dallas Skyline Raiders on Friday, Sept.15, as they look to stay undefeated and get their third win of the season.
DeSoto is 2-0, defeating Allen and South Oak Cliff High Schools by considerable margins.
Their opponent, Dallas Skyline Raiders, have suffered two close losses to Lancaster, losing 14-28, and Garland Lakeview Centennial, 22-24.
The Raiders won their last game against Frisco Independence, blowing out the Knights 42-10, and are looking to knock off the Eagles.
DeSoto has dominated the last two games in all phases of attack.
In his last game, Eagles quarterback DJ Bailey completed 7-of-8 passes for 242 yards and four TDs, while the rushing attack went for 107 yards and a touchdown.
With Head Coach Claude Mathis at the helm, the Eagles have continued to dominate their opponents, picking up where they left off last season.
The Eagles dominated their season opener, defeating Allen 39-7, and after an early rest, soared to victory over reigning 5A D2 champions, the South Oak Cliff Golden Bears 54-14.
Friday’s game against the Raiders is also senior night for the DeSoto Eagles.
Kickoff for the game begins at 7:30 p.m.
