John Wiley Price Talks Dallas Juvenile Detention Center Standards

Ranking member of the Dallas County Commissioner’s Court, John Wiley Price sat down with The DeSoto Tribune to discuss the standards of the Dallas Juvenile Detention Center.

An audit was conducted on the juvenile detention center in Dallas and performance improvement plans were submitted to the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD) on July 20.

According to the Compliance and Audit Summary provided to The DeSoto Tribune, it states there were a total of 179 standards that were reviewed.

Out of the 179 standards, only 13 citations were noted.
