Amber Garcia, 27 has been found safe and reunited with her family according to an update from the DeSoto Police Department.
DeSoto Police provided the update late Thursday evening to the disappearance of Garcia as the department investigated her disappearance.
“Missing Arlington Resident Amber Garcia has been found safe and is being reunited with her family,” the statement read.
Garcias mother, Dalila Correa, called Arlington Police after receiving frightening text messages and phone calls suggesting her daughter was being held for ransom.
