PureNRG Cycle | Pedaling to Fitness and Community

Pedaling with passion and purpose, PureNRG co-founders Greer Christian and Janelle Wright have devised a unique approach to fitness that blends fun with exercise.

PureNRG Cycle, their dynamic indoor cycling studio, offers a refreshing way to stay fit while enjoying the ride.

“We started this as co-founders because of our love of fitness and community,” explained Wright in an interview with The DeSoto Tribune.

“We saw a need in our area to provide something unique.”

In a nation where 41.9 percent of adults are classified as obese, according to data from Trust for America’s Health, cycling emerges as a beneficial activity for cardiovascular health and strength building, as noted by healthline.com.

“We’re creating a fitness community that meets individuals at their level,” added Christian.

Emphasizing an energetic atmosphere driven by curated playlists and expert instructors, PureNRG offers a variety of programs, including cycling, strength training, and training certification.

The studio also hosts charity cycling events to support causes while promoting healthy physical activity.

PureNRG is also on a mission to help raise funds.

Christian and Wright recently announced the launch of their first round of funding for the FitCommunity Campaign, aiming to scale the business for their communities.

They are on a quest to raise $25,000 by their 1-year anniversary which lands on July 21, 2024.

The primary goal of PureNRG Cycle is to assist individuals in achieving their fitness aspirations, whether it’s burning calories, toning muscles, or simply enjoying the journey.

Wright emphasizes the importance of proactive health choices, urging individuals to make a mental commitment to change and adopt healthier nutrition habits before health issues arise.

“The first thing is that they have to decide that they really want it. Most people and most black people and brown people wait until they have diabetes, or something has happened to them to where they have to change,” said Wright.

“They have to make that mental deposit that they’re going to change, and from there, they have to really change the nutrition.”
