The DeSoto Public Library hosted the 7th annual Best Southwest Everything Expo Saturday, where a multitude of teens descended upon the city.
The expo, now in its seventh consecutive year since its inception in 2016, continues to bring teens from DeSoto and neighboring cities.
The event brought a day filled with fun activities and engaging performances from the family music group Ax2 and Dejah 9903.
The group is known for their strong anti-bullying messaging.
Dallas-born musician, singer, rapper, writer, and producer JuHani, who graduated from Cedar Hill High School, also performed at the expo, wowing attendees with an engaging performance.
The event featured activities such as a Hip-Hop Dance Workshop, a Selfie Station, Laser Tag, a Fitness Boot Camp, a Modeling Workshop, Karaoke, and many more.
Attendees were treated to a day of entertainment, empowerment, and excitement, with performances and activities.
The expo aimed to promote self-expression and camaraderie among young people in the community.
