DeSoto Police and Fire Weekly Incident Reports for July 21-27

The DeSoto Police and Fire Departments have released their weekly incident reports for July 21 to July 27.

The DeSoto Police Department reported 2,316 calls during the week, most of which were neighborhood patrol calls totaling 752 incidents.

Directed patrol calls followed, with officers responding to 392 incidents.

Additionally, the police department handled 286 business calls and responded to 73 animal-related calls.

Other notable calls included 64 calls regarding suspicious activities and 307 traffic-related incidents.

The DeSoto Fire Department also released its weekly fire run report, documenting various incident responses.

The department responded to a total of 155 rescue and emergency medical service (EMS) incidents.

Other responses included 25 good intent calls and 13 service calls.

The department also attended to 12 false alarms, four hazardous condition incidents, three fire calls, and one overpressure rupture, explosion, or overheat call.

The report is meant to highlight the continuous efforts of the police department and fire department in managing a wide range of emergencies and service calls.
