DeSoto, Best Southwest Cities Unite for Hispanic Heritage Festival

The City of DeSoto, along with the cities of Lancaster, Cedar Hill, and Duncanville, will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month together this year.

There will be a vibrant and family-friendly Hispanic Heritage Festival on Saturday, Sept. 21.

The event will take place at Grimes Park in DeSoto, with gates opening at 5:00 PM.

The festival is free to attend and offers a range of activities and entertainment for all ages.

This year’s festival features an impressive lineup of musical talent, headlined by Grammy Award-winning artists Jay Perez, David Marez, and Stefani Montiel.

These renowned performers are expected to draw large crowds as they bring their celebrated sounds to the stage.

In addition to the headliners, special guests Connie Pena, DJ Ramon, and Lil Frankie, who was recently named Best On-Air Radio Personality of the Year, will also perform.

The festival will offer more than just music as attendees can look forward to a variety of children’s activities, games for all ages, and a diverse selection of food vendors.

The festival’s family-friendly atmosphere encourages community members to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the entertainment in comfort.

Organizers expect a large turnout from DeSoto and the neighboring communities of Lancaster, Cedar Hill, and Duncanville.
