“We recognize the vital role small businesses play in driving innovation and creating opportunities. In our ongoing efforts to promote equity and economic empowerment, we are excited to partner with Dallas College for the launch of the Start.Pivot.Grow. “In 2012, Census data showed that 30.8% of franchise businesses are minority-owned, compared to just 18.8% of non-franchised businesses,” said Cynthia Nevels, CEO of Integrality and Founder of the Start.Pivot.Grow.

“Owning a franchise can be a reliable path to sustainable wealth for minority business owners. African American business owners who switch to franchising earn 2.4 times more than other Black-owned businesses, while Hispanic franchises earn 1.7 times more and Asian businesses earn 1.1 times more.”

The sessions will be led by industry experts who will provide valuable insights and resources to help attendees navigate the franchise landscape successfully.

Early bird registration is available until August 30, for a fee of $19.99.

After this date, the registration fee will increase to $44.00, with the final deadline to register set for September 15.

Since its inception, Start.Pivot.Grow. has been dedicated to supporting emerging entrepreneurs by providing essential resources and guidance.
