Good news as DeSoto Police have located and found missing DeSoto resident Omar Brown in the area of the DeSoto Town Center. 

Police along with the help of good Samaritans located Brown Tuesday evening at about 3:15 p.m. and were able to return him safely to his mother according to police.

No further details have been released about the circumstances leading to his disappearance or the specifics of his discovery.

The department emphasized the importance of community involvement in ensuring the safety of all residents and thanked those who provided support during the search efforts.

“Thank you to the citizens that aided police with Omar’s safe return,” a post on the department’s Facebook page read.

The DeSoto Police Department encourages the public to continue assisting law enforcement in similar situations by remaining vigilant and reporting any relevant information promptly.

The DeSoto Tribune has reached out to The DeSoto Police Department for further information and comment but did not immediately hear back at time of publication.
