The Cedar Hill Independent School District is investigating a video that reportedly shows a high school administrator engaging in inappropriate behavior with a student at a school event.
The district confirmed the investigation in a letter sent to parents and staff.
In the letter, Cedar Hill High School Principal Lee Joffre addressed the video, which has been circulating online, though the duration of its availability remains unclear.
“The behavior displayed in the video is not acceptable and does not reflect the values we uphold as a school community,” the letter read.
“Please know that the administrator involved is not on campus while we work diligently to understand the full context of what occurred.”
The district is working to understand the full context of the situation, and appropriate actions will be taken following the investigation’s findings.
At this time, it is not confirmed if law enforcement is involved in the matter.
Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
