In collaboration with the City of DeSoto, South Toyota, and local churches, Councilmember Dr. Dinah Marks is spreading holiday cheer through the “Fil-A-Tundra” Toy Drive.

The initiative aims to collect enough toys to fill 10 Toyota Tundra truck beds for children in DeSoto this Christmas season.

The toy drive will culminate in a community event on Thursday, Dec. 14, at 10 a.m. at South Toyota, located at 39660 LBJ Freeway, near the corner of Hampton Road and Interstate 20.

Residents are encouraged to participate by donating new, unwrapped toys to bring joy to children in need during the holiday season.

South Toyota, a key partner in the event, will be showing support by hosting the collection site and providing the vehicles for toy deliveries.

For those unable to attend, additional donation options may be available through partnering churches.
