The Artis Event Center is set to officially open its doors with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new location, 160 Seahawk Drive.
The celebration begins with a ribbon-cutting event hosted in collaboration with the DeSoto Area Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will include light refreshments and bring together community leaders, business representatives, and guests to mark the occasion.
“This collaboration aligned perfectly with our vision of creating impactful experiences while supporting the local economy, and we were genuinely excited about the partnership,” said Jessica Brewer, owner of Artis Event Center.
She emphasized the role the center will play in bringing people together.
“This will be a place where people in the community will be able to connect and share moments of beautiful celebrations and milestones in their life,” she said.
The festivities continue with a grand opening celebration on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art facility and explore its modern amenities.

The Artis Event Center aims to become a central hub for events in DeSoto and the surrounding areas.
Designed with elegance and equipped with cutting-edge features, the venue is ideal for a variety of gatherings, including weddings, banquets, corporate functions, and community events.
“We come from a construction background, and when we came upon this area, we were able to revitalize an abandoned building that had been sitting for almost two years. In doing so, we’ve created employment opportunities and fulfilled a need within the city of DeSoto,” said Brewer.
“We are extremely excited to contribute to the growth and development of the City of DeSoto,” Brewer added.
