Residents looking for a fun and active way to celebrate spring can lace up their running shoes for the annual 5K Shamrock Shake Fun Run & Walk.
Set to take place on March 15, 2025, at Zeiger Park, the event, hosted by DeSoto Parks & Recreation, offers families and individuals an opportunity to enjoy the city’s outdoor trails while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
The race kicks off at 9 a.m., following check-in at 8 a.m., and warm-up stretches at 8:45 a.m. Participants of all ages are welcome, and pets are invited to join the fun.
The first 100 runners to register will receive a free event T-shirt. Additionally, attendees can look forward to snacks, drinks, giveaways, and other surprises along the route.
