As the postseason picture takes shape, the Dallas Mavericks are showing appreciation to their most loyal fans in a big way.
The team announced Friday that all Club Maverick Members (CMMs) will receive complimentary tickets to the NBA Play-In Tournament game if the Mavs maintain their current ninth-place position in the Western Conference standings.
“This is our way to say thank you to our fans for their dedication to the team, whether they’ve been with us for 4 years or over 40 years,” said Rick Welts, CEO of the Dallas Mavericks. “We want them at AAC, rowdy, proud and loud, bringing the energy to the building and supporting their Mavs!”
The announcement means that if the Mavericks hold onto the ninth seed, their season ticket holders will be invited to pack the American Airlines Center on Wednesday, April 16, when Dallas is set to host a high-stakes Play-In game broadcast nationally on ESPN.
The NBA’s Play-In format, now in its fifth season, determines the final two seeds in each conference’s playoff bracket.
Only the 9th seed hosts a game, giving Dallas fans a unique chance to rally their team into the next round.
Eligible season ticket holders will be contacted directly by their Club Maverick Member representative with details on how to claim their tickets if the team clinches the hosting position.
With the postseason looming, the Mavericks are banking on a home-court advantage powered by their most dedicated fans—and offering a tangible “thank you” to those who’ve been there through every dunk, buzzer-beater, and rebound.
