Authorities are investigating the death of a woman found unresponsive inside a vehicle early Thursday morning in a residential neighborhood.
At approximately 7:05 a.m., DeSoto Police responded to a 911 call from a passerby who reported seeing an adult female inside a pickup truck with the driver’s side door open.
The vehicle was parked in the 1100 block of Rosemont Drive.
Officers arrived at the scene and found the woman in the driver’s seat.
Emergency medical personnel attempted life-saving measures but were unable to revive her. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Captain G. Kirkland of the DeSoto Police Department, detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
However, as of now, no signs of foul play are suspected.
Authorities have not yet released the woman’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
The investigation remains ongoing.
