The DeSoto Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 2025 First Responders Bowling Tournament on Sept. 11 at AMF Lanes, honoring police, fire, EMS and emergency personnel who serve the community.
The event, presented by Crescent Hospital as the title sponsor and supported by the City of DeSoto as the official partner sponsor, is designed to celebrate public safety workers while strengthening partnerships between businesses and first responders.
“Our business community continues to show that appreciation is more than words; it’s partnerships, participation, and purpose,” said Chamber President Cortney Beauregard. “Together, we’re shaping a city that honors service with action.”
Local organizations, including the DeSoto C.A.R.E. Team, Dallas Behavioral, Breeze Urgent Care and UT Southwestern, will join forces to form an All-Star First Responders Team.

This powerhouse team will represent the city’s emergency operations community on the lanes.
Businesses are also stepping up to support the tournament through sponsorships.
Dallas Area Patrol and Protective Services and Tax2Go LLC are among the first “Lucky Strike Sponsors,” providing funding, prizes and giveaways to enhance the event.
Teams of businesses, civic groups and nonprofit organizations are registering and paying to compete, with proceeds supporting the tournament’s mission.
Community members are encouraged to attend as spectators, free of charge, and bring tokens of appreciation, such as thank-you notes or small gifts, that will be shared with local first responders.
The tournament begins at 6 p.m. Sept. 11 at AMF Lanes in DeSoto. Registration and sponsorship details are available at www.desotoareachamber.org.
