The DeSoto Police Department is inviting residents to connect with local officers over coffee and conversation at its next community engagement event, Brew with the Blue: Wal-Mart Edition, on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025.
The event will take place from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 951 W. Belt Line Road.
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy free hot coffee, donuts and open discussions with members of the police department.
Hosted in partnership with Wal-Mart, the event is part of the department’s ongoing effort to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the community through transparency, engagement and partnership.
Brew with the Blue aims to provide a relaxed setting for residents to meet officers, ask questions and learn more about public safety initiatives in DeSoto.
The DeSoto Police Department encourages all residents and business owners to attend and take part in building stronger community ties.
