The Dallas Mavericks held a midseason culinary showcase ahead of the team’s second-half home schedule, offering media a preview of new menu items and returning concession options that will be available at select games.
The event took place prior to the Mavericks’ Jan. 22 matchup against the Golden State Warriors and featured pop-up restaurant concepts.
The showcase featured specialty cocktails and rotating concession offerings scheduled to debut through early February at the American Airlines Center.
According to the team, the showcase was designed to highlight expanded food and beverage options for fans attending home games during the second half of the season.
One of the featured vendors was Zavala’s BBQ, which offered brisket tacos as part of the tasting.
The tacos included smoked brisket served with pico de gallo on warm tortillas, reflecting a Texas barbecue option adapted for arena dining.
The showcase also included previews of pop-up restaurant collaborations with The Mexican and Carbone Vino.

Both concepts are scheduled to appear at upcoming home games in limited quantities as part of the Mavericks’ rotating concession lineup.
In addition to food offerings, the team introduced several craft cocktails created for the second half of the season.
Specialty nacho items were also previewed as part of the Three-Point-Play Nacho Series, which will rotate by game and correspond with select matchups.
Team officials said the expanded menu offerings are part of a broader effort to enhance the overall fan experience at home games by introducing variety, local partnerships and limited-time food concepts throughout the season.
