LOS ANGELES — The BIG3 basketball league posted higher television ratings during its ninth season on CBS, according to figures released by the league using Nielsen and Sports Media Watch data.
The league said it has averaged approximately 605,000 viewers through the current season, outperforming several other televised sports properties during comparable broadcast windows.
BIG3 officials also said one recent CBS broadcast drew 677,000 viewers, a 23% increase from the same period last summer.
According to data shared by the league, the BIG3’s average audience surpassed those of Tiger Woods-backed TGL, LIV Golf, NBA Summer League and Unrivaled during the reported periods.
The ratings increase comes as the league, founded by Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz in 2017, continues expanding its national profile while featuring former NBA players alongside emerging talent.
The BIG3 is scheduled to return to the Dallas-Fort Worth area later this season.
