DALLAS — SouthFair will celebrate its 35th anniversary with a community tour highlighting the nonprofit organization’s work in South Dallas and a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its Malcolm’s Point Retail development.
The tour will give attendees an opportunity to see SouthFair’s impact across the neighborhoods it serves, including efforts to expand housing, economic opportunity and long-term community investment.
For more than three decades, SouthFair has worked alongside South Dallas residents and community partners on projects aimed at strengthening neighborhoods and creating opportunities for families.
The anniversary tour will conclude at Malcolm’s Point Retail, where SouthFair will host a celebration and ribbon cutting recognizing the organization’s 35-year milestone and the new development.
Malcolm’s Point represents the latest phase of SouthFair’s community development work, bringing together neighborhood revitalization, economic opportunity and investment in South Dallas.
Board members, staff, community members, partners and supporters are expected to participate in the anniversary celebration.
Transportation will be provided for those participating in the community tour, and light breakfast refreshments will be served.
Organizers are asking attendees to RSVP by Oct. 1 to ensure adequate seating for the tour and ribbon-cutting celebration.
The event is intended to highlight SouthFair’s history in South Dallas while providing a look at the organization’s continued development and investment in the communities it serves.
