DALLAS — Mother’s Day diners in Dallas will have expanded options this weekend as Winsome Prime prepares to open early Sunday with special brunch and dinner offerings, live entertainment and complimentary roses for mothers.
The Trinity Groves restaurant announced it will begin service at 10 a.m. on Mother’s Day and feature both brunch and dinner menus throughout the day.
Among the featured brunch items is the restaurant’s brunch board, a shareable option designed for four to five guests.
The board includes waffles, French toast, bacon, sausage, wings, eggs, skillet potatoes, croissants and fresh fruit.
Dinner service will include the restaurant’s regular menu along with a featured grilled halibut dish topped with cream sauce and crabmeat.
The restaurant is also spotlighting a family carrot cake recipe connected to co-owner Rob Wright’s family. According to the restaurant, the recipe dates back 65 years and has been passed down through generations.
The carrot cake will be available by the slice during regular business hours throughout the Mother’s Day weekend.
In addition to dining service, brunch guests will also be offered live music entertainment as part of the holiday celebration.
Mother’s Day remains one of the busiest weekends of the year for restaurants nationwide, with many North Texas establishments offering specialty menus and themed dining experiences to accommodate families celebrating the holiday.
