BEDFORD, Texas — Texas Harley-Davidson is inviting the community to trade horsepower for heart later this month by participating in a teddy bear drive benefiting children receiving medical and mental health care across North Texas.
The dealership’s “Bikes, Burgers & Bears” event is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, from noon to 3 p.m. at its Bedford location.
Admission is free, and organizers are asking attendees to bring a new teddy bear with its original tag attached.
All donated bears will be distributed through the Tattoo Mark Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides toys, activities and support to children receiving care in hospitals and mental health facilities.
The foundation’s mission is to bring comfort and encouragement to children facing medical treatments or behavioral health challenges.
The event will combine a charitable fundraiser with a family-friendly gathering featuring complimentary burgers, live music and Harley-Davidson motorcycles on display.
Beer will be available for attendees 21 and older.
Organizers say the event is designed to bring together motorcycle enthusiasts, families and community members while supporting children during difficult times.
Texas Harley-Davidson has a history of partnering with local organizations and charitable causes throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The dealership says community events such as “Bikes, Burgers & Bears” reflect its ongoing commitment to supporting nonprofit organizations and giving back to the communities it serves.
The event will take place at Texas Harley-Davidson, 1 Texas Harley Way in Bedford, from noon to 3 p.m. July 18.
Community members who would like to participate are encouraged to bring one or more new teddy bears for donation to the Tattoo Mark Foundation.
According to the foundation, the bears will be delivered to children in hospitals and mental health facilities, providing comfort during what can often be stressful and uncertain experiences.
