BEDFORD, Texas — Texas Harley-Davidson will bring holiday spirit to the middle of summer with a Christmas in July event benefiting Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the dealership, 1 Texas Harley Way in Bedford.
Organizers are encouraging attendees to donate new slippers, blankets and pajamas for the Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County Silver Santa Giving Tree program.
The donations will help provide comfort items and winter essentials to older adults across Tarrant County during the holiday season.
In addition to the donation drive, the event will feature live music by the Party Kings, complimentary motorcycle washes, food trucks, cornhole, chalk art and photo opportunities with Summer Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Guests also will have an opportunity to sample beverages from Swig, the drive-thru soda chain known for its customizable drinks. Complimentary adult beverages also will be available for attendees.
The event is open to riders, families and community members and offers an opportunity to support a local nonprofit while enjoying live entertainment and family-friendly activities.
Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County serves thousands of homebound older adults each year through meal delivery and other support services designed to help seniors remain independent in their homes.
The Silver Santa Giving Tree program provides holiday gifts and essential items to older adults, relying on community donations to meet seasonal demand.
Texas Harley-Davidson regularly partners with local organizations through community events and charitable initiatives, using its dealership as a gathering place for riders and residents to support causes throughout North Texas.
Those wishing to contribute are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped slippers, blankets or pajamas. Admission to the event is free.
