DALLAS — Winsome Prime is marking National Tequila Day with the launch of an exclusive añejo tequila developed in collaboration with Patrón.
The new spirit, called Winsome Prime Estate, will debut Friday, July 24, and will be available exclusively at Winsome Prime locations.
According to the restaurant, the collaboration was nearly a year in the making. as Winsome Prime’s leadership team traveled to the Patrón Hacienda in Mexico.
While there, members participated in guided tastings before selecting the final tequila expression that became Winsome Prime Estate.
The añejo tequila is aged for two years in French oak barrels and is intended to be enjoyed neat or as the base for cocktails.
Beginning July 24, guests can order Winsome Prime Estate in the restaurant’s signature Winsome Margarita or substitute it in any tequila-based cocktail on the menu.
Exclusive, restaurant-branded spirits have become increasingly common in the hospitality industry as restaurants and bars seek to distinguish their beverage programs and offer products that cannot be found elsewhere.
Collaborations with established distilleries also allow restaurants to create signature products that reflect a restaurant’s identity while giving customers a unique dining experience.
“Winsome Prime Estate represents the same attention to detail that goes into every experience we create,” co-owner Rob Wright said. “We wanted a tequila that our guests could enjoy on its own or in a cocktail without sacrificing balance or character. The result is something we’re proud to put our name on.”
The launch coincides with National Tequila Day, observed annually on July 24, and represents the latest addition to Winsome Prime’s beverage program.
Known for its upscale Southern-inspired cuisine, steak and seafood offerings, and handcrafted cocktails, Winsome Prime has continued expanding its food and beverage program since opening in Dallas.
Reservations and additional information are available on the restaurant’s website.
