DALLAS — The Southern Taste of Dallas Awards has announced its 2026 People’s Choice winners, recognizing restaurants, food professionals, creatives and community leaders across the Dallas area.
Organizers released the results in a social media post highlighting 21 winners across restaurant, media and community categories.
Mary’s Twisted Kitchen was named Dallas’ favorite soul food restaurant, while Mr. Cajun’s Daiquiri received the favorite seafood restaurant award.
Wings World was selected as the city’s favorite wing spot, and Smokey John’s Bar-B-Que earned the favorite barbecue restaurant honor.
Other winners included Sankofa Kitchen for favorite vegan restaurant, Burgerlicious for favorite burger spot and Breakfast Brothers for favorite breakfast and brunch restaurant.
Fuel City received the favorite taco spot award, while Grandma’s Country Kitchen was recognized as Dallas’ favorite new restaurant.
Black Jack’s Pizza was selected as the favorite pizza restaurant, and Greedy’s received the favorite bar and lounge award.
Gloria’s Latin Cuisine earned recognition as the favorite Mexican restaurant, while Williams Chicken was named the favorite chicken spot.
Shells & Tails received the favorite food truck award, and Soirée Coffee Bar was selected as the favorite coffee shop. Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley earned the favorite upscale restaurant honor.
Cake Daddy was named Dallas’ favorite bakery, while Fusion Vibes Kitchen + Lounge received the favorite fusion restaurant award.
The awards program also recognized three people for their contributions to Dallas media and community life.
Most Wanted Nuke, also known as “Mr. If You From Dallas,” was selected as the city’s favorite influencer.
Stephanie Camille received the favorite food journalist award, and Mary Dudley was named Dallas’ favorite community leader.
The annual awards program celebrates Dallas-area restaurants, culinary businesses, creatives and community figures while highlighting the contributions of Black and Latino entrepreneurs to the region’s food and cultural landscape.
