IRVING, Texas — Entrepreneurs and business leaders will gather in Las Colinas later this month for the inaugural GrowthTech Summit, a half-day conference focused on artificial intelligence, technology, access to capital and business growth.
The summit, organized by Start.Pivot.Grow., is scheduled for Oct. 21 from 8 a.m. to noon at Wells Fargo headquarters in Las Colinas.
Organizers say the event is designed to provide entrepreneurs with information about incorporating artificial intelligence into their businesses, securing capital and building companies for long-term growth.
Melissa Bradley, founder of New Majority Ventures and an investor and entrepreneur, will deliver the keynote address.
Her presentation, “The Applied AI Economy Comes to Main Street,” will focus on how artificial intelligence is affecting small businesses and the broader entrepreneurial economy.
The program will also include discussions with investors, business leaders and technology professionals on topics ranging from responsible use of AI and legal considerations to business scaling and access to funding.
A fireside chat will examine some of the legal and ethical considerations companies face as they increasingly incorporate artificial intelligence into their operations.
Other sessions will focus on strategies entrepreneurs can use to strengthen their businesses and prepare for future investment opportunities.
The summit comes as artificial intelligence continues to reshape how businesses approach operations, sales, marketing and growth.
For smaller companies, the rapid development of AI tools has also raised questions about implementation, cost, data protection and how the technology can be used effectively without replacing core business practices.
Networking opportunities and resources for entrepreneurs seeking capital will also be available during the event.
The program is scheduled to conclude with the Start.Pivot.Grow. Accelerator Pitch Competition and the presentation of more than $35,000 in accelerator grants and awards, according to organizers.
The awards are expected to recognize entrepreneurs in areas including innovation, artificial intelligence leadership and community impact.
The GrowthTech Summit is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Wells Fargo headquarters, 401 W. Las Colinas Blvd. in Irving. Breakfast begins at 8 a.m., followed by programming from 9 a.m. to noon.
Registration information is available through Start.Pivot.Grow.
