PLANO, Texas — Fashion, music and community took center stage Thursday evening as the 2026 Juneteenth Fashion Show brought residents, designers and performers together at Legacy West for a celebration of culture, creativity and unity.
Produced by ThinkThreeMedia, the annual event transformed the venue into a showcase of fashion, entertainment and community engagement, highlighting the significance of Juneteenth while creating a space for connection and celebration.
Designers, models and performers filled the runway throughout the evening, presenting collections that reflected individuality, heritage and artistic expression.

Families gathered alongside fashion enthusiasts and community leaders to enjoy an event that blended style, culture and entertainment.
One of the night’s biggest highlights came from musical artist Cupid, widely known as the “Line Dance King.”
The Louisiana native energized the crowd with a performance that drew audience members to the dance floor and showcased the line-dancing style that has made him a nationally recognized entertainer.
A particularly memorable moment occurred when organizers recognized Nyilah McDaniel, a student from Cedar Hill High School for her achievements in fashion.

McDaniel was honored for her growing impact in the industry after gaining recognition for her design work, including participation associated with the 2026 Met Gala.
Throughout the evening, attendees celebrated not only fashion and entertainment but also the spirit of Juneteenth, the federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States, more specifically in the state of Texas.
The event emphasized themes of empowerment, opportunity and cultural pride while providing a platform for established and emerging voices in fashion and the arts.
With a final runway presentation and recognition of participants capping off an evening that highlighted fashion, culture and community during the Juneteenth holiday, the event felt like one giant family reunion.
